Commentary

Note how all the family members are on horseback. The family probably owned many horses. Look at the size of the eucalypts that they are near.
Note the clothing, the big hats and sensible clothes. Pay attention to what is on their feet

Reason for Selection

This shows the entire family and is a good example of how an ordinary family would dress and thow their transport. It also is a good example of the sort of vegetation found in Kelso in 1924
